Very sweet these ducklings and a beautiful shot. I picture you lying on the ground with your camera at the ready for quite some time, or was it easier than this?

    Thanks Marga. Luckily there was a dip in the embankment between me and the duck family, so I could sit across from them comfortably. If I’d been lying down I’d probably still be there shouting for someone to help me up.
    Mother and Father Duck were there too, just off camera, so ducklings were quite relaxed.

      Oh good, I was a bit worried imagining a frozen lady at the waterside. Anyway, such photos make your waiting worthwhile.
