Lisbon: A photographer’s dream destination.
We got home yesterday from a 5-day city break to the Portuguese capital of Lisbon.
It is one of the most fascinating cities I’ve ever visited, with a surprise around every corner.
Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world, and the oldest in Western Europe, predating other modern European capitals such as London, Paris and Rome by centuries.- Wiki
Tradition sits alongside modernity with the ancient accommodating the ultra-modern, and vice versa.
I’ve tried to show something of this in my post this week for Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge.

Portugal has been famous for its tiles for many hundreds of years….

I didn’t know much about it before I went. Only what I’d learned in geography at high school.
