In response to Thursday Doors Challenge:
How wonderful it would have been to enter through this door every day as a student at the Charles Rennie Mackintosh designed Glasgow School of Art, but it’s not too bad going in as an occasional rubber-necking day-tripper.
(N.B.Work is ongoing to restore this beautiful building after a disastrous fire in 2014.)

Thanks Dan. Restoration of building going to be a long process but great care being taken to get it right.

Welcome to the challenge, one of the most enjoyable ones around. I love the reflections you caught in the windows of the very cool door.

Thanks Janet. The reflections are of cranes on a building site across the road! Do not planned.

Sometimes the best things in a photo are serendipitous and fun.

It did work! Welcome aboard – this is a very good way to start. I love the way the words Art and School are etched into the brass door plates – nice find 🙂

Friends laugh at my “quirky” love of doors, so it was great to find all of you out there who share it!
