For Cee’s Which Way Challenge this week I’ve revisited some photos from our September trip to Barcelona. (It’s a good thing to do on the shortest day of the year. It reminded me that Spring and Summer are just around the corner).

Very nice. I’ve never been to Barcelona, and have heard it is the most beautiful city in the world. 🙂

Thanks Marsha. It’s certainly one of the most vibrant!

Wow! A red escalator! I’m seriously jealous.

Yes! And I’ve actually used it!!!!

LOVE the first picture! La Predrera. Barcelona is high on my list of places to visit, and you’ve possibly bumped it up a notch.
HMB · 23 December 2016 at 17:26
Thanks Leah. Move it to the top of your list, pronto! And look to stay right in the Gothic Quarter. We’re going back to same hotel next September as there is so much more to see and so much to revisit.

We have absolutely no idea where we’ll go next winter. I seriously want to go to Asia, but I always feel the pull of Europe. Our only hesitation is that we travel from November – April; not the best time for weather for so much of Europe!
I will have to flag the Gothic Quarter, in particular. Thanks.
HMB · 27 December 2016 at 16:44
I would avoid Europe in those months too. (If I’m going to feel cold and get wet, then staying nearer to home (England) and back every night to a log-burner is a much better idea.
South East Asia at that time of year……..now that sounds much better.
It’s fun planning though, eh?
Leah · 28 December 2016 at 05:18
It is. There are so many places to visit; it boggles the mind.
