Had to brave the elements today to go out and try new Fuji XF55-200mm lens. The pier at Southport seemed a good idea but boy was it cold! Southport Pier is over one kilometre long with much well-crafted ironwork and a full-size tram to take visitors the length of it. The tram and everything else was off for the winter so no candy floss this time! There are some interesting statues and sculptures at the start which were ideal for putting the lens through its paces:
At the very end of the pier was a shiny column. Couldn’t resist taking my very first (and possibly my very last) “selfie”:
