More Lockdown Photography.

I’ve been taking lots of photographs in our small garden recently, due to lockdown.

It’s been revelation to me just how much there is to admire and enjoy in our garden, in our village and within a few miles of home.

My car still has over half a tank of fuel and I last filled up mid-March. The very time petrol and diesel are so cheap, I haven’t needed any!

For Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge this week: One Single Flower, I have two cultivated roses from our garden and also a wild “dog” rose, one of many hundreds growing in the hedgerows alongside the canal towpath.

Such very beautiful blooms Helen, you have pictured them so well. Take care 🙂

Thank you Paul. I’m really enjoying photographing flowers during lockdown.

They are all so beautiful in their own way. I have had to paint a rose and had to really look at them. So many different shapes. You have managed to capture 3 at one time. Wish I had seen your post last week. Lovely photos.

Thank you so much. Yes, there’s “looking” and then there’s “really looking”. I hope you were pleased with your painting.

All lovely in their own way, but the red one is a classic. Such a difficult colour to capture too.

Thank you Cee. It was seeing your flower pictures that inspired me to try to get to grips with flower-photography three years ago. Until then I tended to avoid!
