Helen, I love to see the contrast when a strong color/colors are added to a black & while photograph! It brings a real focal point to the picture! Love this! 🙂

Have not been to Manchester in a hundred years!
Went there for an Apprentice competition not long after started hairdressing. Must have been 17?
The first time back in the UK after moving to SA I went to see a mate and got lost in Moss Side! Now that was Interesting.
And in the Spirit of Hard Rock, I saw the Stones at the Kings Hall and Robin Trower at the Free Trade Hall. Long time ago, as you can imagine!

This was taken indoors in The Printworks which used to be where they had all the offices and printing presses for the Manchestr Guardian as it was then. It’s part of the regeneration after the IRA bomb all those years ago. They’ve kept a lot of original features in a most sympathetic restoration. So although it is in essence an indoor mall, it’s a nice place to wander around (especially when it’s raining heavy Manchester rain) ☂️☔️
