Like a Duck (or a Gull) to Water is a phrase which seems to fit the bill (beak?) for this week’s WordPress Challenge: H2o

Great photos. I find it such a pleasure when I catch a bird ‘in the act’!

Thanks. Yes, I love the way photography lets me see the action frozen.

Lovely shots! I love capturing birds in flight as well, and it’s always a great feeling when it works out as perfectly as yours has.

Very kind of you to say that. As a keen birdwatcher I always loved photographing birds in flight. But either they got faster …or my reactions got slower…..and the big telephoto lens got heavier….so no more.

I have tried but not had your success. Even if you cannot do it anymore you will always have these images.

It’s the pleasure of watching birds that makes it worthwhile for me, getting a good image is a bonus . I think so anyway. And if it was easy it would be no fun, no challenge. So enjoy what you’re doing. Kindest regards, Helen.
