Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge this week calls for all things Green.

Here are a few shots all of which were taken not too far from home, hence the corny title of this post!

Some lambs and their mothers were enjoying the shade under a tree on the opposite bank of our local stretch of the Lancaster Canal back in spring:

I photographed these stepping stones on a recent trip to the Lake District. We didn’t risk crossing the stream using them, secure in the knowledge that there was a little hump-backed bridge just round the corner to get us to the other side:

We are so lucky to have easy access to the Lake District. This is a favourite walk:

I liked the way these wheelbarrows were “resting” against the wall in the garden of the Quaker’s Swarthmoor Hall (it was a Sunday! I think they’re kept very busy the rest of the week):
