Pleasant walk in Garstang this morning. Bought some of the famous Garstang Blue cheese….delicious. By 11 o’clock it was getting too hot to walk. Saw a few butterflies. Was experimenting with 100-400L lens, rather than macro, to see what the depth of field was like. Further experimentation needed.
There were more skippers than anything else. A couple of small tortoiseshells, a large white, a couple of gatekeepers and that was about it.
