A New Year Resolution

I don’t make New Year Resolutions, but if I did…….

……….it would be to get back into the swing of using real cameras MORE, and relying on my iPhone LESS.

This week I rescued my Fuji xPro1 from the back of the cupboard, charged the battery, attached its 18mm lens and off I went.

If my first day with it proved anything to me it was that I’d more or less forgotten how to use it. See my post on MonoZone.Online for what went wrong.

Today, securely armed with the knowledge of how to use the electronic viewfinder and how to set camera to autofocus, I took these shots on a walk around nearby Treales village.

I might move on to using a different lens now and have a week using the 35mm.

Watch this space.

Happy New Year to you to. I was delighted to find your blog. I’m a Glaswegian, missing my home city.

Oh good, my comment got through – I had to try 3 times because the screen just kept whirring the first twice so apologies if you received them all! I hope you enjoy my Glasgow gallivanting. I’m an adopted Glaswegian but I can’t now imagine living anywhere else.
