Our penultimate trip this year took us to Ullswater in the Lake District. We stayed in a hotel whose grounds extended down to the shores of the lake.

What a stunning place the lakes are, Helen. I’ve never been. Hopefully, next year (if restrictions allow).

Beautiful images Helen and it’s such a lovely setting – we’ve eaten in the restaurant a few times and wandered through the gardens when we lived in Cumbria
