We enjoyed a late-spring trip to the Mallorcan capital city of Palma a couple of years ago.
Reminiscing whilst looking through the 883 (!!) of pictures I took in Palma on my phone, I’ve noticed that a good number show empty seats. I certainly have enough for a few posts in Xingfumama’s weekly Pull up a Seat Photo Challenge.
I took these pictures early in the morning when the old city was quietly anticipating the arrival of visitors from both neighbouring resorts and cruise ships.
The way things are now with Covid-19, these seats are probably empty most of the time.

Nice carriages. I haven’t tried going on one of those. Maybe one day.

I hope you do some day!

I’d love to go and take a ride there. Those carriages are beautiful…and so are the horses.

It’s a beautiful old city to ride around! Although we walked everywhere.

I love to walk around and can go miles, but sometimes a different view and a rest for tired feet is welcome.

Yes indeed, we sometimes use open-top buses for this. Or cafés, especially if coffee and cake are available.
