RED!  RED!  RED!

Red is probably my favourite colour in photography.

Simply RED.

RED sails in the sunset.

RED, RED wine.

Little RED Rooster

Lady in RED………

…….and before we know it, it’ll be time for the  RED, RED Robin to come bob, bob, bobbin’ along.

When I saw that Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge this week was RED, I couldn’t resist some colour-pop.

(Actually it was Charles Waugh to brought it to my attention with some amazing RED pictures from St Petersburg.

You can see them here .  Thank you, Charles)

I’m also trying out a new way of showcasing pictures, having just upgraded to NextGen Plus.

This gallery is my first trial run. Fingers and toes crossed!

Please enjoy.

You can never have too much RED, so why not visit CFFC for some more.

Thank you for visiting me at PHOTOPHILE.

You’re right, I can never have too much of that! 🙂
All’s great, and I especially love the surreal high-heels one. >-I

Wow, these are pretty effective. I love it how you left that green in there too.

Oh Helen, I so adore that you chose to do selective coloring. Marvelous gallery. 😀

Thanks Cee. I don’t do it very often, but when I do……it has to be red…..so your challenge was just perfect.

Wow. I see this technique used in a lot of images that leave me thinking ‘Why do that? What has that improved?’ but you’ve nailed it here. The umbrellas are my favourite I think.

Thank you. It’s a fun technique and a bit gimmicky, I think, and to be used occasionally! Your comments have delighted me.

Great job, Helen. The red really pops off of the B&W backgrounds.
