First half decent walk of the year with lots of signs of Spring noticeable. Saw a female mallard with a couple of ducklings, a pair of swans nest-building and several butterflies (small tortoiseshells, a peacock and a white), most of which looked pretty battered so they must have been last year’s. There was a hare in an adjacent field.
A few narrowboats on the canal too.
