Up Close and Personal with a Large Red Damselfly.

A couple of recent visits to Brockholes Nature Reserve have given me the opportunity to eyeball a few damselflies and also watch Common Blue Butterflies staking out their territory.

I was really attracted to the different coloring of the damselfly. The blue and green one seem to have joined to create the image of a heart. 🙂

Yes, they even fly joined in heart shape when they’re mating. Thanks for visiting.
