A ten-minute drive from our village takes us to the outskirts of Preston, a small city with with extensive parks.
There were wonderful autumn colours to be enjoyed this week. We walked from Avenham Park, through the gated “tunnel” under the bridge, to Miller Park and then followed the path alongside the river.

Such beauty on display this Autumn, Helen. I would have enjoyed that walk with all those beautiful colours on display.

What exquisite photos. The one with the steps and the walk in the forest would make such lovely paintings.
A pity that that sort of subject does not sell here. Our people do not identify with the beauty of the English countryside. They prefer THE BIG FIVE. So I enjoy your photos because they are so different. Keep it up.
